SYNOPSIS: In a remote village in north-east Thailand, the only phone begins to ring. It is a call from the city that Grandfather Koon's son has been killed in a motorcycle crash. Somehow, Koon must bring the body back to the village and ensure that there is a proper funeral.

Director’s bio: Aditya Assarat studied film production at the University of Southern California. His thesis film Motorcycle was the first Thai film to screen in Clermont-Ferrand, Tampere, Oberhausen and Sundance. His other shorts include Waiting, Boy Genius, and The Sigh, which together won fifteen awards. In 2006 he started the company Pop Pictures to produce his debut feature Wonderful Town. It won the New Currents Award from Pusan in 2007 and Tiger Award from Rotterdam in 2008. In Thailand, the film also won five Subhanahongsa National Film Awards, including Best Director and Best Picture. It was the first time that an independent film ever received this honor. Aditya is currently working on his next film, High Society.
